SERIOUS MUSIC!

SERIOUS MUSIC!

I’m back in the studio!

I’ve been working on some new music, together with a very talented producer and artist, Hansdale aka Gengis Hans.

You can check out his music here: http://genghishans.bandcamp.com.

He just released his latest EP “Reptilian Regions”: it’s a super nice indie electric pop EP, with an "out of this world" feel, bouncy drums and great bass riffs.

SAILORS, SPIRITS AND DISCO BALLS : A STAY AT THE JANE HOTEL

SAILORS, SPIRITS AND DISCO BALLS : A STAY AT THE JANE HOTEL

 I love hotels.

I am a gypsy at heart and since I was very little, hotels were a huge fascination for me.

From the rooms to the guests that come through, the maids and the concierge, hotels have a life of their own that is made of charm and mystery. Whether it's a 5 star plaza or a bead and breakfast, people come and go leaving behind moments and pieces of themselves. That’s what makes them so interesting to me.

NIGHT CONVERSATION WITH A TAXI DRIVER

NIGHT CONVERSATION WITH A TAXI DRIVER

Last night I went for dinner with some friends.

I got into a taxi and the driver was a man in his 70s, with a long white beard. He greeted me very kindly.

Where are we going?” he asked.

I told him the address and he started driving.

After a few seconds he asked “Is it a club the place you are going?”

I MADE ONE OF THE BIGGEST DECISIONS OF MY LIFE

I MADE ONE OF THE BIGGEST DECISIONS OF MY LIFE

In my previous post I wrote about how happiness to me means being where you want to be.

It’s easy to say, but hard to do: I have spent hours, days, months wondering where I would feel “at home”, where I could express all my potential, where I want to spend most of my life.

I love travelling and I am for sure a nomad spirit: I consider myself a citizen of the world, like the majority of my friends. We don’t belong anywhere, and at the same time, we belong everywhere.

THAT TIME IN BANGKOK WHEN A PSYCHIC READ MY MIND

THAT TIME IN BANGKOK WHEN A PSYCHIC READ MY MIND

Some years ago I went to Thailand to visit a very good friend of mine, Anita, who had been transferred there for work. I had just graduated from University and I didn’t know exactly what I wanted in life. The biggest question was: should I follow my passions or do what my family expected of me?

I traveled to Thailand to clear my mind, stay with my friend and have a good time. “My mind would eventually clear up” I thought. It was my first time in Thailand, and I loved it.
